Vancouver FC – In Search of History
With the regular season charging into its final stretch, Vancouver FC is turning up the heat in their push up the Canadian Premier League standings.
Following a statement-making 3-1 victory over Atletico Ottawa in the opening leg of the TELUS Canadian Championship semi-finals, Vancouver FC sits just one step away from history as they look to become the first CPL side to punch a ticket to the Voyageurs Cup final.
While the decisive second leg goes down in Ottawa on September 18, fans won’t have to wait long to see the Eagles soar at home. VFC also has three massive matchups lined up at Willoughby Stadium at Langley Events Centre, giving supporters plenty of chances to rally behind their squad down the stretch.

Vancouver Giants– 25th Anniversary season begins
The countdown is on! The Vancouver Giants launch their 25th Western Hockey League season on September 20 with a bang, as the league’s newest team — the Penticton Vees — makes their first-ever visit to Langley Events Centre. It’s one of two chances to catch the G-Men at home in September, with the Victoria Royals rolling in on September 26.
A new season means a new era of Giants hockey, led by General Manager Hnat Domenichelli and Head Coach Parker Burgess. On the ice, the talent is stacked — NHL Draft picks Cameron Schmidt (Dallas Stars), and goaltender Burke Hood (New York Islanders) headline the roster. Plus, keep your eyes on Ryan Lin, fresh off representing Canada at the U18 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in the Czech Republic and Slovakia as he gears up for his draft-eligible season.

Trinity Western Spartans Women’s Volleyball
Get ready, Spartans fans – the Trinity Western women’s volleyball team is set for a massive season, and it all begins September 26-28 with the annual West Coast Classic right here at home.
That’s just the start as this weekend builds towards the ultimate showdown – the 2026 U SPORTS National Championships. From March 13-15, the nation’s best will battle it out in Langley with the Spartans hosting seven top programs in the fight for the title. Games are free to attend.
Trinity Western Spartans Hockey
Hockey is back as the Trinity Western Spartans hit the ice on September 27 with an exhibition double-header featuring the men’s and women’s teams.
Two games. One day. Non-stop Spartans hockey. Make some noise and cheer on your teams as they launch into the new season! Admission is free for both games.
