Offence meets defence at Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention

It will be offence versus goaltending at the April show for the Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention.
Joining the lineup of special guests are Brett Hull, Adam Oates, and Milan Hejduk, combining for an impressive 1,457 goals and 3,616 points over their combined 52 seasons in the NHL. These prolific scorers will be facing off against some of the league’s top shot blockers: Kirk McLean, Byron Dafoe, and Olaf Kolzig, who accumulated a total of 1,746 NHL games played in goal.
The show, organized by Bossa Productions and with autograph sessions courtesy of Premium Autographs, will offer attendees the chance to meet these hockey icons and collect signed memorabilia from their legendary careers.

Brett Hull
A Hockey Hall of Fame inductee in 2009, Brett Hull is widely regarded as one of the greatest goal-scorers in NHL history. Over his illustrious career from 1985 to 2006, Hull tallied 741 goals and 1,391 points, ranking fifth all-time in goals scored and first among U.S. players. Known for his lethal shot and offensive prowess, Hull captured two Stanley Cups, first with the Dallas Stars in 1999 and again with the Detroit Red Wings in 2002.
Adam Oates
Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012, Adam Oates was one of the greatest playmakers in the history of the NHL. Over the course of his 19-season career, Oates accumulated 1,079 assists, ranking eighth all-time. A true maestro of the game, Oates set up three different players to score 50 or more goals, including his dynamic partnership with Brett Hull during their three seasons together with the St. Louis Blues, where Hull netted 228 goals in just 231 games. Oates was known for his incredible vision and ability to create opportunities for his teammates.
Milan Hejduk
Milan Hejduk spent his entire NHL career with the Colorado Avalanche, where he became one of the most consistent goal-scorers in the league. A vital part of the Avalanche’s 2001 Stanley Cup victory, Hejduk reached the 20-goal mark in every season except for three of his 14-year career. Notably, he achieved 35 or more goals five times, including one impressive 50-goal season.
Kirk McLean
Kirk McLean enjoyed a distinguished 16-season NHL career, playing 612 games with the New Jersey Devils, Vancouver Canucks, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, and New York Rangers. McLean is perhaps best known for his time with the Vancouver Canucks, where he served as the starting goalie and led the team to the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals.
Olaf Kolzig
Olaf Kolzig was the backbone of the Washington Capitals for much of his career, playing 711 games with the team. Known for his incredible reflexes and consistency, Kolzig helped lead the Capitals to the 1998 Stanley Cup Finals. Upon his retirement in 2008, he ranked 23rd in NHL history with 303 career wins and currently sits 40th.
Byron Dafoe
A second-round pick by the Washington Capitals in 1989, Byron Dafoe enjoyed a 12-year NHL career, playing 415 regular-season games. Dafoe made stops with the Los Angeles Kings, Boston Bruins, and Atlanta Thrashers, establishing himself as a dependable goaltender throughout his career.
