Vancouver Bandits – On Fire This Summer
It’s not just the temperature which is hot outside, but indoors, the Vancouver Bandits are heating up! With a record of 11-3, the Bandits lead the Western Conference as the team hits the stretch drive of the Canadian Elite Basketball League season.
The Bandits have three home games remaining as they look to secure one of the Western Conference’s top two seeds – and a home playoff date!
Home Game Lineup:
• July 18 at 7:00pm: vs. Saskatchewan Rattlers
• July 20 at 5:00pm: vs. Edmonton Stingers (Country Night presented by Gold’s Gym BC)
• August 3 at 5:00pm: vs. Winnipeg Sea Bears (Fan Appreciation Night)

Captain Mitch Creek continues to lead the charge for the Bandits with 23.3 points per game, which is good for fourth in the league.

Hundreds of teams from across Canada converge at Langley Events Centre for the 2025 BBall Nationals Club Basketball Championships. Catch the next generation of stars in action!

Vancouver Giants
Hockey season is almost upon us as the Vancouver Giants get set to embark on the Western Hockey League campaign beginning in September. Leading the way will be both a new general manager (Hnat Domenichelli) and head coach (Parker Burgess). The pair were appointed to the new roles in late June.
Two key returning members of the Giants also heard their names called at the NHL Entry Draft with forward Cameron Schmidt being selected by the Dallas Stars while goaltender Burke Hood was chosen by the New York Islanders.
The team now sets their sights on the upcoming season as they will celebrate their 25th campaign in the Western Hockey League. The puck drops on September 20.
Trinity Western Spartans
The Canada West schedules are now out for both the Trinity Western Spartans men’s and women’s teams for the upcoming basketball and volleyball seasons. The volleyball teams begin the home portion of their regular season schedule on October 17 while both basketball teams tip off at home on October 25.
