The launch of both soccer and lacrosse seasons, plus a fan-favourite collectibles show headline another packed month at Langley Events Centre.

Vancouver FC

A new season begins for Vancouver FC as head coach Martin Nash embarks on his first full campaign behind the bench as the team looks to build upon a successful 2025 which saw the squad finish second in the Canadian Championship – the highest-ever result for a Canadian Premier League team – and qualify for the CONCACAF Champions Cup.


VFC opens with a pair of home matches at the Stadium at Langley Events Centre to launch the Canadian Premier League season:


• April 4 vs. HFX Wanderers FC | 4:00 PM

• April 12 vs. Forge FC | 4:00 PM


With a new season comes renewed energy as Vancouver FC looks to make an early statement on home pitch.



Langley United Soccer Club

The Langley United Soccer Club kicks off its BC Premier League season with both its men’s and women’s teams in action.


Opening home matches:


• April 5 vs. Nanaimo United | 1:00 PM (women) / 3:30 PM (men)

• April 10 vs. Kamloops United | 5:00 PM (women) / 7:30 PM (men)


The Langley United men enter the season as defending league champions, adding extra excitement to the start of their title defence.



Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention

A can’t-miss event for sports fans and collectors returns to Langley Events Centre April 10–12.


The Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention features more than 300 vendor tables along with autograph appearances from hockey legends Ray Bourque, Wendel Clark and Doug Gilmour.


From vintage memorabilia to modern collectibles, it’s a celebration of sports culture across generations.



Langley Junior Tier 1 Thunder

The Langley Junior Tier 1 Thunder open their BC Junior Tier 1 Lacrosse League season on home floor April 28.

• April 28 vs. Port Coquitlam Saints | 7:30 PM


Looking to build off a strong 2025 campaign that saw the team finish 14–4 and second overall, the Thunder aim to take the next step this season.
