Figure Skating's Stars Coming to LEC

Township of Langley, BC, Monday, September 17, 2012: The world’s best figure skaters are coming to the Langley Events Centre this coming holiday season.  The 2012 Holiday Festival on Ice tour will be hitting the ice at the LEC on December 1, the first time these figure skaters of international fame will be seen in our community. 

“Holiday Festival on Ice” celebrates the spirit of the holidays with the Nation’s top skaters.  Olympic heroine, Joannie Rochette, will return to BC after winning her medal and the hearts of the country at the Vancouver Olympics.  Four-time World Champion Kurt Browning; two-time Olympic medalist Elvis Stojko; and World Champion Jeffrey Buttle lead an incredible cast of skaters to Langley for this special event.  The skaters will perform holiday-themed routines as part of the program.

Some additional performers will be added closer to the event.  Tickets for the event will go on sale to the public on Saturday, September 22 at 11:00AM PST and will be available at www.ticketmaster.ca
